Jon and Ross, two of our Engagement Advisers in Wales had a fantastic time at The Welsh Construction Shows last week! They met with some new construction companies and showed them how to benefit from CITB grants, and linked them with local projects for future work. twas great to see ex-CITB apprentices at the event, like Joshua Kinnear of TAD Builders Ltd who is now a site manager after completing his degree in Construction Management. As well as Beth Fisher from Better Jobs, Better Futures-Gwell Swyddi, Gwell Dyfodol who feels CITB can become an integral link in helping her clients get back into work, and a civil engineer who popped in as he needed some advice on his future skills requirements.There were also several companies who wanted to register with CITB to access grants to support their training needs and aid their apprenticeship recruitment – a very productive day!

Great Return on Investment

So last week we attended our first #twcs at Swansea.com Stadium. It was a pleasant experience and our cakes went down well ! Not only did we have the opportunity to talk about the benefit in using our services it was good to also see familiar faces. We followed up a few days later resulting in a £2k sale for training and possible long term partnership with a local college. Megan Williams also got to talk on camera although nervous she did very well. Thank you Emma Wilkins & Ryan Miles a great return on investment which will encourage a return collaboration thank you.
